ABOUT
My interest in the outdoors and rural landscapes comes from my hobby in falconry. I was raised around birds of prey and have trained a variety of birds. By obtaining food through this form of hunting, it has made me consider where we get our food from. Going back to basics with the hunter gatherer in us all.
Foraging is another form of collecting food I am currently learning to accompany my catch.
All of these processes has led to an interest in tableware and cookware.
The majority of my pieces are made by throwing and using press moulds. Focusing on how we hold and interact with different wares and shapes. The curves fit to how we cradle and hold bowls and mugs. Cradling them during the colder months for warmth.
